Tech Solidarity is a 501(c)4 grass-roots organization with the motto "technology serves people". Our goal is to better connect tech workers with the communities they live in, and to share the prosperity the tech industry has experienced more broadly with our country.
Our emphasis is on regular in-person meetings, volunteer assistance to organizations serving the vulnerable, and the creative use of labor law in pursuit of an ethical agenda.
In 2018, we are also supporting a Great Slate of Congressional candidates running in districts across America. The current campaign financing model is badly flawed, making it impossible for candidates outside the political establishment to compete unless they are independently wealthy. By funding strong progressives in less wealthy districts, we are doing our best to rectify the imbalance.
We're also working hard to bring basic security trainings to political campaigns and working journalists. Please see our resources page for materials and details.
